" … Puberty blockers structurally place transgender and cisgender hormonal futures in approximate symmetry. Youth who take puberty blockers have their options wide open, their bodies unaltered by either testosterone or oestrogen" The pseudo-poetic ,dreamy, romantic way Ashley describes puberty blockers made me shiver. Perhaps I am a paranoid hater, but it sounds like a pedophile salivating at the idea of access to prepubescent bodies (with likely underdeveloped prepubescent brains, so easily manipulated) in people of legal age. What a jackpot for creeps.

They're serious about this madness. That prominent ACLU's attorney, the woman who pretends to be the bitchy gay male Chase Strangio, has also stated the goal of doing away with gender.

The essence of Ashley's claim can be simply restated as "puberty is a congenital disorder." It speaks to the end goal of the trans movement: transhumanism, or the radical redesign of the human animal by technology. Anyone who imagines this is a fad is woefully mistaken. This movement will only grow in strength as the requisite technology becomes more sophisticated and widely available. It will be a centerpiece of the politics of the near future.

Excellent comment, seeing puberty as a congenital disorder is so out of touch with any child development teaching as to be laughable if it were not so deadly serious!

Yet another great example of how to sacrifice our youth on the alter of political correctness. While so many have known this is complete insanity they are afraid of political repercussions to say anything, less they be labeled as “transphobic”, or not adequately progressive. It is thinking from the politically elite that leaves our children vulnerable to those that have what seems to be a hostile agenda, and this ought make many of us very uncomfortable and have more intestinal fortitude to speak out!

Jesus H Christ on a Bike! (He/Him), how depressing! Every time I think we're over the peak and on the other side, gender madness is endorsed by an even more commanding authority. What next, a SETI signal from Galactic HQ? ALL YOUR MANY EARTH GENDERS ARE EQUALLY VALID...BEEP BOOP...

Ashley is promoting the chemical disruption of natural human growth for a model of equity that's so morally and scientifically moribund, how can any serious organisation not recognise that level of insanity? I mean, why only consider puberty as a candidate for blockage? We can interfere with growth hormones even earlier, like in utero... Oh yes, they've already suggested that, haven't they? I remember that "study" of the horrific transphobic pressure from hospital staff on pregnant women identifying as men to stop taking testosterone for the sake of the baby's health, rather than continuing for the sake of the mother's socially facilitated mental illness. The "paper" virtually advocated more intersex conditions caused by exogenous testosterone affecting female foetuses, like "developmental disorder" was just a cognitive bias we must overcome.

I think if they invented a pill for producing completely sexless babies, whose secondary sex characteristics could be surgically inserted according to later "gender journey" whims, some of these nutters would be all for it.

I‘m not surprised at all. The WHO is also trying to implement „binding advice“ for member states in case another pandemic will „arise“... They are doing that behind closed doors. The public doesn‘t know much about it. That would mean the WHO could tell the member states any time that there‘s a risk of a new virus starting a pandemic and they could make any intervention they chose mandatory for all the member states. Just imagine.... I find it shocking that this isn‘t even discussed much. Not by politicians, not by ppl working in health care, not by health authorities. And if, then also more or less behind close doors too. Although it would affect the majority of ppl on this planet!! Depending on the mandatory measures it could even affect (most likely would) non member states.

WHO once again is showing us where their interest is, what that organisation is about. Not ppl‘s health, definitely not!

WHO‘s power is difficult to take away once the member states signed the new binding advice contract!! Most countries seem to be willing to sign. From the little bit I read and heard. Or it was presented that way for us to make it seem a neccessary step...If it was a step benefitting the ppl, why not discussing it? Why planning it all behind closed doors without making it widely public? Isn‘t their behavior suspicious?!? Exact same rushed and almost in the dark conducted operation with „transyouth-care“😱 It is scary I don‘t understand how anyone could just shrug it off and say „they do what they want anyway“.. NO, they can‘t do it anyway if we are enough fighting it!! We need to act. Write to our governments, talk about it publicly, do everything we can to inform ppl. And to the power grabbers: We are not your slaves, we still have rights, a will and a functioning brain! And stop calling anything health care or prevention when it‘s the exact opposite. We‘re not falling for it!!

Humans as experimental animals for a bunch of (mostly) hetero paraphilic males w/ money, power, & a political agenda. They call their paraphilia a 'transgender identity' & next they will call it a sexual orientation in order to normalize & integrate into society the utter absurdity that a man can be a woman. This is an astro-turfed movement by men w/ paraphilias who see minors & vulnerable adults as collateral damage in service to their agenda. And the losers are women & LGBs whose sex-based rights are eroded & minors whose lives will be ruined by interventions that interfere w/ the natural developmental process that will enable them to properly mature sexually & physically & figure out who they are.

Florence Ashley is mad and a clear threat to society in general and youth in particular. When will we rise up (peacefully) and drive these pernicious performance artists from our midst? Now, trans rights activists are adept at siccing the furies on anyone who dares challenge gender identity ideology. When are gender critical activists going to learn how to do the same in pursuit of our cause? Within the limits of the law, we need to do everything in our power to denounce her resoundingly whenever she makes a public appearance for the purpose of spreading her insane ideas.

Ollie, I think they are siccing the furries not the furies

Sorry I don't understand what that phrase means... Could you please explain to one naive older person? (Think I know what furries are but "siccing" them??)

Expand full comment

I actually had to look up the word "siccing" myself when I read Ollie's post. Apparently siccing means "set a dog or other animal on (someone)." No idea how common this word is. I was just making a joke, playing with words furies/furries, especially since dog is a common furry identity. Not a very good joke, I admit. No deeper meaning here.

I have to admit I kind of love the insane and incoherent yet strangely compelling musing by renowned philosopher F. Ashley that you cited:

“What is your main motivation in life, and why is it getting railed in a sundress by a hot dyke?”

Expand full comment

I like this in part because it suggests that F.A. recognizes that gay desire and masked repudiation of same is a large part of this whole movement's main motivation in life.

Who among us would not, on some level, like to get railed in a sundress by a hot dyke?

I signed the petition and sent a comment. Unfortunately I don’t think the WHO will listen and they will go down in history as another endorsement of medical ethics gone a stray just as those who endorsed the Tuskegee Study of Untreated Syphilis. The CDC and the AMA endorsed that experiment, doubling down on its value for three decades post exposure. I believe the AMA and the WHO will fall into the same mistake again with the sterilization and mutilation of children here by termed “gender affirming care.” But let’s all hope I am wrong.
