On the fourth of July, I had the pleasure to join Julia Long, Kara Dansky, Jesika Gonzalez, and Amanda Stulman on a Women’s Declaration International webinar about language and values. You can watch it here, if you’re curious. One of the questions that came up was how to navigate social-media censors and real-world settings where you can’t always say everything that’s on your mind. Call Laurel Hubbard a man on Twitter — or Elliot Page Ellen — and you’re likely to get banned. Call a very special subset of men men and you might lose your job. You can’t always tell the full truth. But you never, ever have to lie about reality. When you can’t use pronouns, use names. When you can’t talk about gender, talk about sex. When you can’t say everything, say something.
I refuse to say words that are lies, but do remain silent out of very real fear. Refusing to buy papers or interact with institutions or people that buy into the gender nonsense is impossible now. It is too widespread. But I do not have to “validate” it.
My mother used to say: “if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all” but I think maybe she ought to have said: “if you can’t tell the truth, don’t say anything at all.”?
in my view, pronoun rights will become more available after some of the other rights gender ideology has stolen are regained. its a process of increasing awareness. the gender industry has spent 15 years pushing propaganda in a deliberate covert way. this has resulted in erasure of rights of a half a dozen groups. the rights of women , parents, kids, gays religious ppl and freedom of speech are affected. gender ideology is very unpopular. awareness of what a fraud it is is all thats needed to oppose it. every gender industry stat, study and slogan is a lie. all based on meaningless online polls and 12 months of sketchy data. trans id ppl are also harmed by the gender industry as they are prevented from getting evidence based care in favor of ideology care that ignores their real problems. Amsterdam says those getting gender care in the long term have 50% reduced life expectancy and 20X greater suicide rates. meanwhile trans id kids have suicide rates closer to average. the "care" actually causes people to do worse. raising awareness of the harms caused by gender ideology while recognising trans id people are also harmed by it is key. the gender industry has created its own ideology warriors like hitler created the brown shirts. these ppl have been fed a bucket of lies. no, trans id kids dont commit suicide much more than ave. no, gender care doesnt help anything. no, trans id people arent safer in the restroom of opposite bio gender. yes, womem have a right to spaces safe from bio men and kids have a right to go through puberty. public awareness is the light that can opposite gender ideology.
if anyone gets kicked off twitter, open a new account using a 2nd device, like a cheapo used cell phone from ebay. the 2nd device doesnt need a sim card or cell service. instead connect the 2nd device to your cell phone via hotspot while your cell phone is not on home wifi
Thanks for the Solzhenitsyn link - I'd seen the "not through me" quote of his several times over the last few years, but hadn't read much more of him than that. Though, as mentioned in a comment here, there are a couple of decent articles on him at Quillette - even if I haven't done much more than skim them.
But I'm reminded of a passage from Philip Wylie's Generation of Vipers (highly recommended):
"All I shall suggest is that man—individual man—enlarge his attitude toward himself.
In order to do so most rapidly and effectively he should use the tool at hand: science. He should employ the scientific method for the purpose of studying himself and teaching himself what he learns about himself. He should apply logic and integrity to his subjective personality— just as he has done to the objective world. He would find that laws parallel to physical principles rule his inner life. He would find that truth cannot be escaped within, any more than it can be escaped without. He would learn that when he kids himself, or believes a lie, or deceives another man, he commits a crime as real and as destructive as the crime of deliberately running down a person with an automobile."

I do agree personal space lies are most often to avoid a bad reaction. For example; Do you think I look fat in this dress is going to get an absolute NO if you have any sense. I get annoyed when the questions are so obviously a " I think I look fat but I want you to say I dont look fat" I crack up! Why would you expect any other reaction. Simply say you like it yourself or change. Sorry git way off track there.
The work place is a land mine I step on a great deal as of late. Did you ever see the one of the secretary pouring coffee for the new boss and she says " Say When"
Yes but... what about the "silence is violence" thing? Have to admit that it's clever. If you don't join in the two-minutes hate, your opinion is screamingly obvious.
I am out of my league with these posts. Forgive me please. I find it different in difficulty from my online classes. Maybe I need to find a way to set this up as an expanded page with topics that I take time to prepare. I have forgotten clear, concise and relevant rule. I will come back later after I set up the laptop. I do not have an IPhone or IPad. I welcome any direction or suggestions!
