I’m on my way to Lisbon next week for the Genspect conference, where I’ll be speaking about trans subculture dynamics, and I’ll be in Athens the week after that, where I’m helping organize a conference on psychotherapeutic approaches to youth gender distress.
I’ve done my best to schedule some posts in advance but I wasn’t able to do as much writing as I’d hoped (organizing conferences is hard!—and life has been hectic and sad lately). So for the next couple of weeks, while I’m away, there will be one new piece, one recycled piece (that I think/hope may yet be of interest), one discussion thread, and a top-reads-of-the-week digest for paid subscribers each week.
Please forgive slower response times to emails and messages during this time as well. If I miss something, feel free to reach back out and remind me in mid-October.
Also, if you’ll be in Lisbon, please say hi!
