I quit the public health world just over two-and-a-half years ago, but every few weeks, I get a fresh reminder of all the things I don’t miss about that time in my life, like the groupthink, the passive-aggression dressed up as “invitations” to connect, and the guilt, heavy and sticky and up to your armpits—a portable swamp of bad feelings.
