I've been listening to the Tortoise Slow News podcast’s recent series about Neil Gaiman and two young women who have accused him of sexual assault. What stands out to me is Gaiman’s dark ‘gift’ for normalization, his ability to behave inappropriately, manipulatively—even violently—while acting like it’s all no big deal.
